Hello Susan,
Can you please tell me where I can find the archives?
I am currently accessing this list through my email and hence don't have the previous discussions saved.
Thanks,
Steve

**David,I was having some issues last fall (September) and a lot of great information was posted, including the name of a white paper. Do a search on archives for a Subject line: Consolidated for access slownessThere was good information on threads. Everyone was very prolific in their help which I was grateful for. I actually chose to increase my threads toooooo high since I didn't wait for all the information, but the system has not utilized all of them and it's large enough to support my error. The next time we restart it will lower but as you can see we don't do that often!Good luck,Susan

The actual count is three for admin (one for the admin thread, one for login verification and I forget what the last one is used for), one for escalations, min# for fast threads, min# for list threads, DSO (if installed), any private servers, Alerts.
When a thread creates a connection it remains until Remedy is restarted.
What is going on that your Oracle folks are having problems?
