Presenter Desi DosSantos VP of Product Management AlarmPoint Systems

 

AlarmPoint Systems will discuss how the AlarmPoint events notification and resolution solution helps Remedy help desk users gain in productivity.  It provides a complete view of event assignments, escalations and acceptance of trouble tickets all within the Remedy console.  In addition it ensures the accuracy of end users’ information by allowing self-service updates; automatically escalating notifications when an event is not resolved in a timely manner; and customizing event subscriptions where end users can “subscribe” to events that affect them.

 

Outline of Presentation:

  • Overview of common problems experienced in the notification/resolution process
  • High level review of items to consider when automating this process
  • Walk through of how AlarmPoint integrates with Remedy
  • Talk through of a couple real world customer examples that have implemented AP in conjunction with Remedy 
  • Demo of AlarmPoint
  • Discussion what to consider when implementing a system like AlarmPoint
