I added an entry in the AR System Message Catalog on my development 5.1.2 server for ARERR 329, and changed the server to activate Localized Error Messages. The User Tool immediately started reflecting the changed error message. I also made sure that everything that is required on mid-tier 5.1.2 was done - it already had the catalog server set properly. The mid-tier continues to use the old error message, even after a) cycling the AR Server service and b) restarting the mid-tier server completely. The cache had already been flushed, and the catalog server removed and added back in the Configuration Tool page.
On the 5.1.2 mid-tier do I need to add the AR System Message Catalog to one of the deployed applications, or something??? It is not currently in any of them, but that is NOT one of the requirements for localized error messages listed on pp. 134-5 of the Dev_AR_Apps_Adv guide. We use "Login failed, check you loginname and/or password" But you still get the 329 error message number. -- Jarl _______________________________________________________________________________ UNSUBSCRIBE or access ARSlist Archives at http://www.wwrug.org
