Hi Veeral
Check SQL Table called "Field". This table
contains'SchemaID', FieldID, Fieldname etc.
You can use Direct SQL to get values from this table
'Field".

Hi,
Here is what I am
trying to do, I have a menu from which I select a form name, On selecting a form
name, I have all the fields name populated on another menu. After selecting a
particular field i want to store the database id of that field in a hidden
character field.
E.g.
Menu1->MyApp:Form1
Menu2->Form1:Fieldname
zcharfield->databaseid of fieldname selected in
menu2.
Environment:
ARS
6.3
SQL 2000
Server
So how do i retrieve
the databaseid of the fieldname selected?
