Step away from the join form, please, sir. You are
quite right - with that number of forms and records, the performance would be a
nightmare. Your idea of something like a SHR:ConsolidatedList form might
work, but it sounds like it would still have a significant workflow
burden.
Is the data in the 48 forms that similar that it would make
sense to display it in one table? If so, why isn't it already in one
table?
How about using one table with an EXTERNAL command to
specify the back-end form it references?

any bright ideas?
I need to have a CP and show entries from 48 forms? trying to have join forms is going to be extremely painful! each form can have hundreds of thousands entries, and the users want to see a consolidated list.
I could create a form and have just the main details of each ticket as a ticket on this form, any other way? and how to display something like a half million tickets intelligently?
