Hi Kathy,
 
If you made the log read-only or removed Remedy from the permissions it would prevent Remedy from writing anything else to the file, and it may not crash anything.

We have a lot of automated scripts/processes running on Production, and I was hoping to correct this escalation problem without disrupting service.
