In the past I have spent many hours editing the definitions in a .def file, by the end of a 5 hour session trying to get a def file right I was a nervous wreck. It is much easier in a .xml file. It can still be difficult to get everything quite right, but if you have a large number of fields mapped, it is worth taking the time to understand the structure and how to edit it.

It is a pain when you wnt to add new elements to the WSDL. However I has several times exported the filter in xml deffile, edit the xml-file, and then import the def-file. It can be time saving, but you got to know what your doing, and know the structure of the wsdl! I also edit the xml def-file manually when I has to change the url. -- Jarl On 5/2/06, Ilmer, Mike (GTI) <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > ** > Hello List, > > Does anyone have any recommendation on mapping procedure of the new fields > for the (outbound) WSDL interface. > > It seems like every time when we need to add a new field to the client's > (external) WSDL where remedy needs to push data to, I can see new fields > only after clicking the "Load" button.
