** The other thing to remember if you DO install Crystal 9 is that the version of MSDE it installs, 1.0 which equals SQL Server 7.0 unpatched, is "Code-Red-Ready" until you apply SP4 for MSDE 1.0 so make sure that you don't do this on a machine that is accessible to the network.   P.S. I am STILL trying to get Crystal Server XI to install properly on Win2K3 with an existing SQL Server 2000 instead of MSDE (otherwise it wants to install MSDE 2000 Sp3) so that I can enforce Windows-only authentication.  I prefer not to even allow SQL Server authentication.  Business Objects has not been able to figure out why their installer fails in this environment, and does not install as documented.
