>From my experience with those three products, I'd say to look at some of
what Remedy AM gives that the others don't: Purchasing and financial
tracking (including depreciation), and a full CMDB.

If you already have products tracking your asset lifecycles, and don't
foresee the need for a standardized asset database, then you might be
able to do just fine with LanDesk or Altiris' AM products.

If you're looking to integrate with Remedy Help Desk, all of them can
easily be integrated.

Subject: OT: Asset managment options with the Remedy

We are in the process of reviewing asset management software options and
wanted to see what options all of you are using out there with Remedy.
You thoughts are truly needed as you are the ones who have been though
this process and your the experts im still the newbe here.
I would also like to know if there are any to run away from that just
don't work well at all.
Plus the ones that are to good to be true.

Right now we are looking at LanDesk, Altiris and Remedy asset management

Thanks,

Dan Caissie
