Thanks for the FYI    

It sounds like the ar.conf file did not get updated completely (or got
messed up).  The ar.lck file is usually located in the directory
specified by the Server-directory entry in the conf file.  I had a 5.1.2
to 6.3 upgrade do a similar problem.  I manually corrected the conf file
and the server started up with no more problems.

--------  Why is it trying to create a file in a folder that does not
exists.. And it should not exists there anyways..
        + I am root.. So Create it dummy.. And tell me I have to watch a
Different directory than what I installed.
