I've used Misi's tool several times in the past and it worked great every time. My only "gotcha" was that I did have to go back and change a few table qualifications and workflow items to match the new values.
This is a much better solution than mucking around in the database directly; I have first-hand knowledge since before I took over my predecessor had added values in the middle of the Status list directly in the database and as a result the Status History is out of sync on older tickets. -Rick -----Original Message----- From: Action Request System discussion list(ARSList) [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Misi Mladoniczky Sent: Tuesday, May 02, 2006 10:49 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: Changing Value Order in 'Status' field Hi, I think that the big difference between rrrSelectionChange and archgsel is that the Status-History is also "fixed" with my tool. It will also let you do multiple swaps/inserts/removals in a single pass. Finally, it can either do the exchange directly to your DB (through the API), or it can create an ARX-file with the old data (backup) and the new data that you can later import with ARImport.
