Title: RE: Mid-Tier Intergrated Logon

Abdullah:

It is not possible, as far as I know to pass Windows login criteria to a Unix server.  However, if you are in an Active Directory domain, you can verify login credentials given by a user.

Subject: Mid-Tier Intergrated Logon

Hello Listers,

Please don't scream if this has been asked in the past.

I am trying to authenticate users that need to access the Mid-tier using
the
Windows Account information they use to logon into their workstations.
Does
anyone have any suggestions on where to begin or where I can find useful
info.  The documentation I keep finding all refers to using Windows IIS
.

Thanks

Operating System:  Red Hat Linux v.3
Apache Web Server
Database: Oracle
Remedy ARS 6.3
Mid-Tier: 6.3
