yea.. but.... ARS does not use many (any?) RDBMS level relationships between the tables. Visio would only be able to produce a list of tables with the columns based on the ARS ODBC driver (which would be field DB names, not labels). Visio would not show you what data is pushed/pulled from table to table because all of that logic is in ARS workflow objects (AL, FL, ES, MN, etc) that are completely transparent to the ARS ODBC driver.
Sure you could start with a Viso diagram with 100's of tables with 1000's of fields, but then you have to link/collect/collate the relationships from there. I guess it would save you some time, but it hardly meets the description of "to draw a diagram/flow chart from integrating with ARS" IMHO. Tools like Master Documentor, Remedy Developer Plus, Panacea, etc... are more what I think everyone/anyone really need. Visio will allow you to reverse engineer a database. It seems to me you could do this with Visio 2002 but I no longer have that version so can't verify. Visio 2003 will do it. As Herb said create a new drawing using the Database Model Diagram template. That adds a "Database" menu. Choose Database -> Reverse Engineer. This starts a wizard that will allow you to connect to any ODBC compliant database and Visio will create database entities for each table you choose.
