View form would be appropriate.  Create a view in your db that would generate the equivalent of your 9 joints and map the report to it. This should even help in report output speed.

Midtier 6.3 Patch 16

Running on a Windows 2000 Server with a SQL 2000 Server. 

Crystal Report CR ver 9.2.3.1461

Crystal Enterprise CE ver 10 service pack 4

 

I need to deploy a Crystal Report through the mid-tier. The issue is Crystal Reports deployed via the mid-tier that use sub-reports cause the user to have to enter their Remedy credentials everytime a sub-report is encountered. There are roughly 9 subreports!....YIKES!!

 

Has anyone discovered a solution around this mid-tier limitation? Isreally the only possible solution is to use a final join form made up of 9 joins?
