Rami,

I understand that there is no load from the users this time.
The ARS server can not connect to the MS SQL server at this time, you
can tell this from the arerror.log file.
If the database is available at this time, it might be that the
network between the machines is not available in these situations.
You could try to login to the MS SQL machine manually, using an odbc
connection or so, with the ARAdmin credentials, when this happens and
see if this would be possible from the server running AR System. I
guess not. You might then try this also from the server which runs MS
SQL. If it IS possible to log in from the MS SQL server then it
probably is a networking issue. If it is also not possible to connect
to the database with the ARAdmin account from the SQL Server machine
itself, then it is a DBMS issue.

Kind regards,

Michiel

Hi Michiel ,

1- Is your AR Server installed on the same machine as the MS SQL server?

[Rami S Ayoub] No it's in separate machine.

2- Regarding the backup policy they do online backup, there no scheduling
backup or things like that.

3- Also the dba didn't shutdown the database.

I'm waiting your feedback also I want tell you something on this time 0600

And 1800 there no load from the user.

Best regards,

Rami S Ayoub
