Hi All,
I wanted to know how Remedy (7.0) stores LOB data. I was trying to extract directly from the database a BLOB field (attachment in remedy ; in this case it was a PDF file) but although I knew the MIME type and opened it in a special tool designed to extract BLOB data, Acrobat Reader refused to open it (it said invalid file).
Further, following the same process as above, even if I open a 'text file' attachment, the contents seem to be encrypted and I see junk data when opening it in Notepad.
Are attachments encrypted by Remedy before storing it in the database? If so, how do I bypass remedy and view BLOB data?
