I am trying to test multiple installations on one box, in order to rebuild
one of our servers with no down time, but for some reason I am never
prompted to enter a servername. I have completely erased all instances of
ARS 6.3 and tried to do a fresh install. It seems that for some reason the
env variable sgServerID is being set before I am prompted for a servername.
 I am running on HPUX 11.11 trying to do a root install. After I am
prompted to enter y or n to install the server package it goes straight into
asking me if I would like to use a portmapper, never asking for a
servername. Here is a portion from the install script:
 # Check if this is a Multi-Server installation
# Look for existing subdirectories under /etc/arsystem
# if no subdirectories exist, assume this is a clean install
# do not prompt for the server name, assume $sgServerID=`hostname`
# if directories exists
#    prompt for server name
# if servername exists
#    use it

I have tried to create the folder arsystem and subdirectories in order to
get the installation script to prompt me for a servername, but this has not
worked.

Has anyone else had this issue?

I have also cleared all installation logs in /tmp /usr/tmp
