Position Description: Requirements analysis, functional analysis, and synthesis of Remedy Information Technology Systems Management (ITSM) suite applications requirements. Remedy Engineer modifies Remedy ITSM COTS software based on information gathered from customer requirements documents and interviews. Remedy Engineer manages/performs implementation of the software applications/solutions built.  Remedy Engineer owns the software systems he/she implements and provides response to Customer questions/concerns with regard to the Remedy ITSM suite application modules. Remedy Engineer provides maintenance of the application and its various reporting requirements.  Remedy Engineer participates in all phases of the software development life cycle with emphasis on the planning, analysis, testing and acceptance phases. Candidate requires strong dedication to the Remedy ITSM 5.x/6.x COTS configuration environment and also be fully knowledgeable, experienced, and disciplined in the Remedy ARS programming language and environment to effect customization as outlined by a Change Management process. Prepares briefings and prepares updates on project/task status, ands prepares technical and configuration management documentation.  Requires frequent interchanges with the customer to determine customer needs and ensure what is implemented meets those needs. Remedy Engineer will design applications to meet performance requirements, ensure security requirements are met, test software thoroughly, and integrate/install software into the production environment.  Performs performance monitoring and provides documentation of issues and recommendations to the customer. Assists users in the operation of the application and provides training of users as required.  Candidate participates in requirement's review, design review, integration readiness review, and software acceptance review. ITIL awareness and exposure to Industry Best Practices desirable.

Position is full time, but we would consider someone to come assist us on a short term basis. Active clearance is highly desirable, but the ability to obtain Top Secret is acceptable. The work is being performed for USSTRATCOM, at Offutt AFB.
