For the next several months you would be working with our consultants before being full responsibility for their Remedy implementation. It would then be turned over to you and one additional admin who is new to Remedy but knows the customer's infrastructure well.

The Remedy Administrator is responsible for maintaining and administering Remedy Action Request (AR) v7.0 implementation that supports our business operations. Remedy modules include Help Desk and Asset Management.
Primary Responsibilities
* Identify, evaluate, test, implement and maintain functionality of
* Develop & design applications including but not limited to forms, menus, fields and work flow to meet business requirements.
* Perform requirements gathering tasks for routine and complex application enhancements and integrations.
* Perform program debugging, data analysis, and system analysis on the RemedyAR system.
* Ensure that new functionality or enhancements meet current or projected business needs.
* Complete application documentation for Remedy Application enhancements and changes.
* Support the definition and capture of Remedy-specific metrics and reports, including Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), to meet organization business needs.
* Rapidly restore service in case of failure and eliminate root causes of problems to prevent recurrence
* Maximize system availability and tune system for optimal performance
* Must have experience in customizing and maintaining
* Must have experience working with the Mid-Tier module.
* Advanced understanding of databases and programming.
* Advanced knowledge and understanding of information systems and network technologies.
* Experience with SQL Server or Oracle databases is a plus.
* 4+ years experience with BMC Remedy AR System, Mid-Tier.
* Thorough understanding of specific tools such as AR Remedy, AR User and AR Import.
Qualifications
* Four year technical college degree or equivalent work experience.
* A minimum of 2 years directly or related work experience in a technical support environment.
* Must be an effective communicator with high attention to detail and the ability to work either independently or as part of a cross-functional team in a fast paced environment.
* High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Project.
* Ability to provide outstanding customer service, problem solving, and technical writing expertise.
