Marimba, ITSM7 and CMDB 2 are made for each other so to speak. As a Marimba customer you get EIE with preconfigured mappings to populate CMDB. Also there is work flow in the ITSM 7 applications when you install the integration that allows for full "Closed Loop Configuration Management". This means you can work from the ITSM applications and cause Marimba to go off and do the necessary changes, then once the change is done, Marimba writes back to the originating request that the change was successfully made. I saw a demo a while back and it is really awesome how tightly the new versions work together. You will see a lot more about it a BMC User World.

Has anyone worked with Marimba, ITSM 7 and CMDB 2.x?
I have been tasked with making the above work. I beleive Marimba worked with ITSM 6 and CMDB 1.x but have heard some rumblings that might not be the case yet for above combination.
Has anyone had any exerience with this?
