You are out of threads between the Oracle database and the ARS server or your database server is seriously overloaded and cannot keep up with the amount of transactions requested of it (I am leaning very heavily towards the second.)
You need to do something with the database and that is tune it. There are many books on how to do this.

Just wondering if anybody has experienced the behaviour I am at present. I have Windows Server 2003, Oracle 10GR2. I installed ARS 7, CMDB 2, Approval Server 7, Assignment Engine 7 and Incident Management 7. Very soon after the last install the arerror.log began filling up with thousands of errors of
type:
Thu Aug 03 17:04:10 2006 AssignEng : Failure during SQL operation to the database (ORA-03127: no new operations allowed until the active operation
ends) ARERR - 552
If I comment out the assignment engine in armonitor.cfg and restart the server, the same errors will return but with this time with the Approve :
prefix.
Any ideas?
