Baytops and the other folks on the East Coast:
As an Arizonian, where we normally see temperatures in the 100s, stay 'wet', 'cool' and out of the sun.
Wet==drink plenty of water/electrolytic beverages. Stay away from caffine and alcohol.
Cool==Air Conditioning. Out here, because it is dry we use water based coolers (evaporative cooling). Keep off the lights (they generate heat) as well as any other heat generating appliances. Keep the shades pulled on Southern/Western facing windows. Drive as little as possible (cars generate tremendous amounts of heat.)
Out of the sun==I don't think I need to explain this one.
I was foolish enough to walk down a street in Las Vegas at 112 last week. I'm still 'paying' for this (I got sunburnt as well.) I did pickup a large portable sunshade the next day (some call these golf umbrellas). This definitely helped my recovery as well as staying indoors during the daytime.
Also, check on the young, very sick and the elderly. They are least able to fight off the effects of overheating.

This is by far one of the best forums I have been apart of and I would like to tell everyone thanks. I find this forum even better than "BMC" support becuase it always seems as though the only answer I get from them is either the server is bad or they kep asking the same questions in circles until I say close the ticket :)
