I searched the web for some js that would allow this, but it does not
look to be possible. Found some vague references that someone had
done something like this with signed scripts.

I seem to remember seeing something come across a few months back in the
form of Java Script that could remove the entire titlebar of a Mid-Tier
window but I didn't have use for it personally so I just filed it

This setting is found on an Active Link when you open a 'Dialog' window
where you can check a check-box to not show the windows default Close[X]
close button. Works fine on the native user client.. Doesn't in the
Mid-Tier.

I got a response from Matt saying that this is due to the ingrained browser
pop-up format - he may be right but I could have sworn it used to work on
the earlier versions of the Mid-Tier application. I often use this check-box
when developing my own application to have as much control of the user as
possible and don't recall this being an issue in the earlier versions.

Maybe its because they now create these web pages dynamically that they have
forgotten to include this exception while generating the page code??

Joe let me know were this setting is and I'll test it out for you here.

I don't use this option but I would like to see if it works also.

This works OTB on the native WUT... I was always under the impression it
worked OTB on the Mid Tier as well, until I noticed today that it doesn't..
All the default Windows title bar buttons (minimize, maximize and close)
show up even though on open of the dialog I have checked the check box to
not show the close button...

Can someone out there verify that it doesn't work OTB on the Mid-Tier
client? I could have sworn it used to work on the earlier versions.

I have ARS 6.3 server patch 16.. mid-tier version and client versions are
the same too.

Cheers
