Perhaps this is not quite what it seems... Maybe this fella is looking for a resource that is available for the duration of the assignment, but with a flexible schedule which would make this position more or less a second job sort of thing.
In other words, you go to your normal day job and then stop by this other one for a few hours in the evening, or over lunch for meetings, that sort of thing. This is a great option when you want to pick up a few extra bucks for the holidays. Travel, lodging and benefits would not be required if you're local and have them already on your regular job. If this is the case, then the wording should be adjusted a little bit, but I don't see anything is being overly out of place. Then again, maybe this employer is looking for someone that could (and you knew that this was coming, right?) work remotely. There is little that cannot be done over a vpn connection vs. having a body in the office - and there are fewer distractions. :-) I don't see any mention of this one way or the other in the post - and I admit that it is a bit of a reach, but - hey - it's a Monday. Personally speaking, I'd like to see more postings about positions and/or other types of work related to the AR System out there on the list. Not everything has to be a regular job or a contracting position, and, picking up a few bucks every so often on side work is not a bad thing, right? (BTW - and this is way OT - if you're seeing just the email id of 'wduchene' come through on the post, it's not intentional and I apologize for it. I have some glitches with the email server that I have been using and for some reason it strips the name form the message. I almost ready to call a techno-shaman to recite incantations and chase the evil glitch mice form the server again.) On Mon, August 21, 2006 15:44, tgaltamore wrote: > Moi?!? Harsh?
