device is very nice and you need at least a broadband type connection to use
it. I have my service from SprintPCS which looks to be the one with the
most service of this type (for now). Of course, Cingular provides a like
service as well as the Nextel branch of Sprint. For those who are

- For those
of us that travel on business regularly, one thing that I miss is being able to
watch all my satellite channels. The hotels that I stay at usually only
have one movie channel, and local channels that I never watch. On my last
trip I finally decided to get a SlingBox. I wanted
to pass this along to the List because this thing is cool and easy to
setup. At the hotel I was able to watch all 200+ channels over the internet
and the video and audio quality was good. It also works with cable, Tivo
or basically anything that can be accessed with a remote control. Anyway,
another cool gadget I recently got that I can recommend is broadband
wireless. My service is through Verizon but there are other
providers. I get DSL download speeds from anywhere I can get a cell phone
signal. On my
last trip my plane was delayed two hours. So... I sat at the airport
watching DirecTV on my notebook using the wireless broadband card. Technology
is good.
