I could not get to the 32bit 10g Instant Client....I did install a different client that included the 32 bit libraries.  And this was on the advice of BMC and Oracle.  This was because the client install disk is one download for all of the clients.

There are a series of downloads for the Solaris Instant Client:
Solaris SPARC 32-bit 10.2.0.2, 10.1.0.5
Solaris SPARC 64-bit 10.2.0.2, 10.1.0.5
Solaris x86-32 bit 10.2.0.2, 10.1.0.5
Solaris x86-64 bit 10.2.0.2
