Title: RE: License key

Ignacio:

Since most IBM PC type systems do not have a serial number that BMC can read, it is tied to the MAC address on the first NIC on the system.  This can lead to very interesting results if there are two or more NICs in the system.

Ignacio:

You need to visit the Remedy support site and request a new license for your new server.  The UNIX licenses are tied to the main board on your system, not the individual NICs.  Plus the NIC in your HP machine should not work in your new IBM system.

Which items from the server license I must mantain if I migrate the application to another server?

Its only the Mac Address or  there is another item that attach the license to the old server?

        Thanks
