You got to give us more information?
Do you plan on tracking Asset Information through Remedy?
Are you planning on implementing a Configuration Management system through Remedy?
If so, I recommend moving to the full ITSM package including CMDB. If not, then you should be fine for working with a moderately busy help desk.
BTW, what operating system/database are you planning on using?
