Hello ARS TEAM,

I have a customer who is fearing about his ARS Server Performance, the ARS 
Server is located in Panama, the Service Desk agents are located in El 
Salvador and the Remedy Administrator is located in Costa Rica.

There are 2 agents working in El Salvador
There is 1 Remedy Administrator in Costa Rica

The two agents and the administrator are experience very slow response 
time when they try to log in to a new Help Desk Case or try to consult 
them.

Responses time by ping are the following:

>From Costa Rica to Panama (Average 181 ms)
>From El Salvador to Panama (Average 143 ms)

Responses time in Remedy Help Desk are the following:

Log in to Remedy ARS 

Native Client = 5 sec.
Web Client   = 5 sec

Loading Remedy Support Console

Native Client = 4 sec.
Web Client   = 6 sec

Loading Help Desk Case form

Native Client = 5 sec.
Web Client   = 9 sec

Searching help desk cases setting Case Id+ number

Native Client = 3 sec.
Web Client   = 3 sec

Actual configuration:

ARS 6.3,
AIX 5.3 
DB2 8.1

Installed Products:

Help Desk 6
SLA 6
Email Engine 6
Flashboard 6
Mid-Tier 6

-In the same server is running TSM, Tivoli Storage Manager.

-4 GBytes are installed in the Remedy server 

-Fast and List are configured as follow:

Fast  
Min Threads = 2
Max Threads = 4

List
Min Threads = 2
Max Threads = 4

Admin  
Min Threads = 1
Max Threads = 1

There is not apparent problem with the installation; by the way I think 
DB2 maybe is not well configured  if you have some tips that help me to 
restore performance I will  appreciate it so so much.
