Hello,

Good news! A new version of the XML Gateway is available! To be brief, this
new release provides:

* Directory Service integration (to LDAP, Active Directory, etc.) allowing
clients to query Directory Services through XML (multiple searches are also
supported).
* A message sending framework supporting multiple destinations,
failover, 'store and forward' and third party XML response handlers.
* Jasper Reports plugin, enabling one to easily produce smart PDF reports from
any datasource (Remedy, LDAP or an SQL database).
* A range of new webservice improvements, including the ability to perform
extract data from XML using XPath through workflow.

I'm spoilt for choice - with such a set of exciting new features, it's tough
to decide what's the most interesting. But, if you want to demonstrate value
in your AR System investment, the Jasper Reports
(http://jasperforge.org/sf/projects/jasperreports) plugin is perhaps the most
exciting addition. Incase the Jasper Reports site looks a little
overwhelming, the reports are created using the wonderful iReports
(http://jasperforge.org/sf/projects/ireport) tool.

In other news, don't forget that our XML Gateway Community Edition is
available free of charge for anyone who wishes to populate their AR System
database from XML. This tool is by far the most comprehensive
importing/exporting tool available, and is ideal for populating the CMDB! The
tool is totally XML/XPath driven, so don't be fooled by any other "pay for"
command line utilities - no-one should be paying money to populate their CMDB
from a command line.

More good news concerning our Single Sign On plugin coming soon (or pop along
to the website for a few sneak preview screenshots!).
