Try to record your macro in the User tool, and then use it with Runmacro.
Of course if you want to go Command Line you can also try and create your own API program, but that might be difficult if you are not familiar with C, Java, Perl, and/or the Remedy API.

In my opinion the easiest way (and for non-programmers the best maintainable way) would be to use a macro And macros are not even easy maintanable... ;-)

The runmacro command says it will work, but I have not found an example to work form, anybody have one? Or is there another way to update a field without using a macro. I would like to stay away from modify by email and directly modify the database via ODBC connection.
Thanks,
Rob
