Gosh, David: How did you know that the CD player analogy would work on me? I LOVE music (Journey's "When You Love A Woman" is playing in my ear as I type).
I suppose we can put in enhancement requests to make this functionality available to groups as well. Right now, the permissions on the back end form is: Form: Public (visible) All fields: Submitter Write with "Allow any user to submit" checked. I agree that building an application would work. It's the principal of building functionality that was included as part of the client for years. I look at it this way. Over the years I have purchased a vehicle to drive to work. With each new vehicle, the radio has changed from just an AM/FM radio to one that also includes a CD player. I'm looking at a new model, the radio is there with the CD player and each passenger can listen to their own music. I just have to build a way for all the passengers to listen to the same music. Just seems that AR System Administrators/Developers shouldn't have to build an application to recreate functionality that already exists in the desktop client. Thanks.
