I believe he feels threatened somehow.

I'm not exactly sure why, and I doubt seriously that he even reads the ARSList.

It's sad but true.  Luckily I have admin rights so I am able to make some of the changes that we require, but otherwise we have to submit our requests to a committee for any customizations and then our the committee, who by the way, doesn't use Remedy on a daily basis, makes the decisions, which is normally to the negative and things stay the way they were.

It is sad to see such a robust application not be used to it's fullest potential.

Stacie,

I hope your admin is reading this list too. :)

I always find it nice to see "users" reading ARSList. Those are the
users that I want to build applications for. (I am not sure if anyone
in my company, other than Remedy Developers watch ARSlist.)

The full list is a bit long to post to ARSList, and I really do not
like quoting manuals unless I really have nothing better to add. So
let me instead say this....

Your Admin must have some messed up thinking to want to hide the
standard help from their users. ( It just does not make any sense to
me. Maybe someone could enlighten me? Why/how is a self educated user
worst than an ignorant one?)
