Not if you remember that _everything_ has to go under the \Program Files (x86)\ directory, and if you want it on the D: drive like ours are installed then you need to create the D:\Program Files (x86)\ directory manually.
 
Most of the installers ran fine from other directories ( D:\Install\whatever) or from file space on other servers, but none of the ITSM or CMDB patches that run from the command line would run properly on the x64 server, anywhere. I ran them from a Win2K server in the same domain/subnet just fine since they have parameters for server, user, password, top port and connect like a client.
 
Installing the CMDB requires that you be logged in to the server locally, not using a domain account. I probably did the other ITSM apps the same way, but CMDB required it.
