Morning all,,,

We're having a perplexing problem with an interface between Mercury Test
Director and Remedy's Quality Management application using TestDirector
Defects Synchronizer for Remedy AR System Add-in Guide Version 8.0.

When we integrate the applications using the Mercury Test Director Interface
tool on our production system, it pushes records back into the Mercury
application. This has been tested repeatedly on the dev box and it does not
push tickets back into Mercury Quality Center. On production, it's actually
taking a subset of the tickets that are pushed during the current
integration process and pushes them back into QC, creating duplicates in QC.
The problem is that it's not consistent. The logs that are created by the
integration tool are not very descriptive so I can't learn much from them.

The integration tool is set up so that the Dominant tool is TestDirector,
not Remedy, so tickets should not flow back to Remedy.

We have a staging form in Remedy which is the integration point rather than
pushing it directly to the Quality Management (QM:Quality Base form and a
few others). We did this because the QM application is so complex that
doing it all at one time caused too many errors.

If anyone has any ideas it would be great! :) :)

System Specs:
ARSystem 6.3
Quality Management 5.6
Mercury Quality Center 8.2

Thanks!!! In Advance!
