Subject: Re: Server ProcessesWe were having the same errors (plus malloc and RPC on the client side). We found that our memory was continually building to the max, then crashing and starting over. Sometimes it started itself, others the SA had to restart remedy. Our fix was installing an updated verion of the Oracle client. Here's the exerpt from the release notes that Remedy support pointed out to us. We've been running for 3 days now with no errors and our memory has stablized.Warning: There is a very large memory leak in the Oracle 9i libraries with
HP-UX and Linux systems. This is a known non-Remedy issue. It is
crucial to install the Oracle Release 2 Patch Set 3 Version 9.2.0.4 patch with
the 6.x AR System server, especially if you are planning on installing any
Remedy applications (for example, the Remedy ITSM suite). Without this
patch, the application installations will fail.

Title: Server Processes
**
Thanks
I will try thing. Currently I have v 9.2.0.1 so I make the change right
and see what happens. In the mean while I guess Remedy operations will
cease here because even after 3 reboots and 2 power cycle downs the processes
will not start at all. Still giving the same error
messages.
