Could you be more specific? We are running V6.3 on SQL 2000 SP4 but had problems with the first SP4 release. We were not aware of it but this was retracted and another released. All I can tell you is that you should be on build 2195. In query analyzer, use select @@version.
The errors that we were getting were pagelatch errors. The effect of this was that the maintenance plans were failing and if you bounced the server, the db was marked as suspect until it rebuilt itself. With the backups not taking place, the tran file was growing extremely large.
