I'm trying to assign
some groups to a form in our system. We have a bunch of groups named
tier1*, tier2* and so forth and we created these groups via the Configuration
Manager app. When I am in Administrator and I create these forms and want
to assign group permission, I've never seen these tier groups. So I loaded
up the Group form in Remedy and looked at the group itself. I noticed that
the "Group Type" was set to none where other groups, like "App-Management,
App-Support", are set to "Change". I can see the App-Management and
App-Support groups in the group permission list in form properties, but
I don't see the tier groups. I think this has to do with these groups
being a group type of "None".
Can anyone explain
to me what these group types mean? I can set a group to None, View, or
Change.
