Axton and Rick, I was trying to save on workflow maintenance. Yes, I could change the first two characters. That is what the RP does when you specify a prefix. In my case the first characters are always AG (Auto-generated?, Auto_GUID?). I just thought there was a way to let the application handle it like a Request_ID. Anyone think this is a good Request for Enhancement?

Not sure if the prefix passed in the RP prepends the valie or replaces the first two chars. A quick test would tell.
