If you go to Pleasanton, make sure to stay at the Summerfield Suites on Chabot Drive. It is literally right across the street from the Remedy offices. Mention BMC when you book to get the BMC rate.
Make sure to have dinner at least once at Baci in Old Town Pleasanton. If you rouse yourself from the hotel at least once during the trip and explore Pleasanton, you'll find it quite a pleasant town.
