They aren't using Asset.. just inventory..

You definitely need CMDB before Asset, etc. because it's a pre-req.
It's also a good idea to load Asset next because you can verify that the
CMDB extensions got loaded ok before you continue on with the next
install. If for some reason the CMDB extensions don't autoload (they
should), then you'll see a boatload of AST related errors in the Asset
install logs and you need to backtrack to fix that problem before you go
forward. Speaking of which... (I'm sure you already know this), but
when I do this, I take a db backup after each and every step so that I
have the ability to go back to "pre-CMDB" or "pre-Incident" if one of
the installs fails. You don't want to have to start over.
Note that the DSL load will cause whatever install you allow it to occur
with to take much longer (hours), so if you're running an install as the
last task of the day and plan to leave it running overnight, that would
be a good choice for leaving the "load dsl" box checked.
