Thanks Sam

For the 2nd option that you have suggested ,could you let me know that if I
will set a Default web path it will stop sending ".task" shortcuts but will
start sending the url link ?

Thanks & Regards

Subject: Re: Case ID Link in an Email Notification

**
I am aware of two ways

1. Build your own url like the below

http://<your midtier>/arsys/forms/<arserver>/<form>?eid=000000000000001
<http://<your%20midtier>/arsys/forms/<arserver>/<form>?eid=000000000000001>

In the notify action of the filter you can use $Request ID$.

2. Use of shortcuts, In ars 7 you have an option to send either Web url or
Shotcut or both but in the pervious versions once you specify the Default web
path, it stops the sending ".task" shortcuts.

Please let me know how I can add a link in my email notification
through which a user can open the case details or the respective details.....
Please note that it should not be a Shortcut through which a native client is
invoked ..but a link to open the web view ( independent of the Native client
too ) and making use of the Midtier in place....

        ARS 6.3
        Midtier 7.0
        OS : AIX

either ways : By using Text template or HTML ones
