Wow! The timing on this one was great! I was just about to ask the same question. I don't want the Consoles opened in Search, only in New. (It bugs me to see the Advanced Search show where it really cannot be used.) I will try your suggestion. Related Question: It seems that the default mode for opening a form on the mid-tier is "Search". Is there any way to change this default mode to "New" without setting it in the URL each time?
