What you can do is turn on the Remedy user logs by going into tool->options
and into the logging lab. check the sql checkbox and select the path where
you want to save the file. Try saving a new ticket in HPD:Helpdesk. then go
and check the log. check where the table is getting updated by the ticket
number by doing a simple search. that is the table you are looking for. my
guess is the T00...0021 table. verify.

And working with crystal reports is also pretty simple. Just a matter of
getting to know how it works.

** My dear listers,
We are currently running AR 6.3 patch 018 and helpdesk 6.0. We had bought
Crystal Report XI, however Remedy support told us that it's not compatible.

Compatibility Matrix for 6.3 at the URL below.

In the compatibility matrix, it showed that AR ODBC (Windows) is
compatible with Crystal 9 Reports (Professional, Developer, Advanced).

I had thus contacted Crystal Report representative and was informed that
CR 9.0 is completely not available in the market.

However CR version 10 onwards is available. Thus, why BMC showed something
compatible which already not available in the market?

A representative from Crystal Report told me that it's because of the
compatibility of Remedy application with CR via AR ODBC and not the
compatibility of Crystal Reports.

He had guided me to create connection to Remedy SQL Database by OLE
DB(ADO). I followed the instructions and was able to connect successfully.
However, it showed all the table name in ARsystem database in SQL. How do i
know which form goes to which table. Most of my table manipulation comes
from HPD: Helpdesk.

I'm really very new to Crystal Report. In beginner stage. Infact just got
it installed yesterday and stuggling with the user guide.

So before i proceed any further, i really need your expert advise if i can
proceed using CR XI with my current setup. Should i use the AR ODBC
connection of OLE DB?

Where can i get information that which table my HPD:Helpdesk data saved
into when i submit a case. Pls help.
