Our current environment has included a ORACLE database more than 6 years. Our hardware is reaching the end of its life and because of Price and the Case Sensitivity of ORACLE we are looking at possibly replacing ORACLE with Microsoft SQL. As we investigate this change there are several questions I would like to ask. Is MSSQL really case insensitive? We have several stored procedures in ORACLE. How flexible is MSSQL when it comes to stored procedures? I have heard many say the Windows is not as stable as UNIX. How stable is MSSQL? Has anyone made the switch from ORACLE to MSSQL? If so, do you have any advice? Any information we are overlooking?
