<rant> I am so confused on what BMC is releasing and the order we do things. There is definetly a lack of communication between engineering and support as well, because they are just as confused as me. Everytime we apply a patch it seem to make matters worse. They are supplying so many patches and for what. ARS 7.01 I was told was nothing more than 7.0 but the install script was written better and the install should run faster, but no fixes were in ARS 7.0.1. Then 7.02 comes out and we are suppose to apply 7.01 patch 3 after the 7.02 install. I was even told things that were in the release notes of Patch 3 weren't actually fixed in Patch 3, and that it was never removed from the release notes and would be fixed in a patch 4. I just want to get to a stable environment with the up to date releases. .. <rant>
Can someone confirm what is the order if I was to do a vanilla install again of 7.x. I think it should be the following
ARS 7.01 - Not patches
CMDB 2.0.1 - No Patches
Assignment Engine, Approval Engine, etc
IM 7.02 - with IM 7.0.1 Patch 3
CM 7.02 - with CM 7.0.1 Patch 3
PM 7.02 - with PM 7.0.1 Patch 3
