If you start filtering out software it is no longer definitive. Games software would exist for competitive analysis in games producing companies, so yes, for say 99.999% of sites it may be of no importance, but there it is.
Almost all software is arguable one way or another for a specific site. Given the size of the DSL, having the differences downloadable and performing an appropriate update to the table might be preferable to a full download, sort of like best practice for discovery? ....
