Chris,

There are three options I can choose:

  1. emp_id
  2. job_id
  3. job_lvl

I choose emp_id which I check in the Enterprise Manager of
MS SQL and it's unique and no NULL value included.

Thanks.

Chris

What is the key field you are using?

** Hi,

I've been trying to update the shr:people form using a existing
database but didn't get through.
AFAIK, this should be done by using the view form.
When I try to create a view form, specify the database like
pubs.dbo.employee (pubs is the example db in MS SQL),
I can see the field list. Buy after I select the key field and put
fields I need into the new form, it always end up with following error:
"RPC call failed: RPC: can't encode arguments. (ARERR 91).
   Have anyone seen this before?
   Thanks.

PS: It's on ARS 6.3, Windows 2000 server and MS SQL 2000.

Chris
