I've had that one get me more than once - usually when people's last names match common words. I think I had a guy with a last name of "An" with that problem once.

BMC gave us a fix for the FTS indexing and the problem was solved. You can test by disabling FTS and try your search again. If your search works with FTS disabled you can be reasonably sure that's the problem.
