Keith,
I'm not in front of a computer at the moment, but searching the archives or on
communities will give you the formula for days only fields

Subject: DATE field value in Oracle calculation
**
I know DATETIME fields store the value as epoch time. However, when I look into
the value for a DATE only field value, I get "2456797", which doesn't seem to
match epoch time. How does this get stored and is there a formula that can be
applied to the value to calculate the value to display the proper DATE in a
human readable- format?
Example: START_DATE in the database stored as 2456797, needs to display an
Oracle DATE type of 5/19/14.
